Following an injection or surgical procedure, patients relax in a comfortable recovery area while a highly specialized staff monitors their response to a treatment.
Granite State Pain Associates utilizes state-of-the-art administrative components, from computerized billing and appointment scheduling to electronic medical record keeping, ensuring a high level of accuracy, documentation and confidentiality. The patient must have an established patient/provider relationship for medical care of at least three months. During this time, various therapies may be trialed and opiates reduced or eliminated when indicated.

FAQs
Do you accept my insurance?
Yes, we accept most insurances. Prior to scheduling we will do a check of the benefits your insurance provides in our offices.
Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?
Yes, for many commercial insurances this is required.
Do you need medical records?
Yes, we will need office notes from your most recent pain provider (pain centers, specialists, or PCP; whichever is applicable).
Do you do injections?
Yes, our physicians perform all standard and complex image guided injections.
Do you do opioid management?
Yes, we adhere to the latest CDC and Board of Medicine recommendations on dosing. If you take opioids, expect frequent urine testing to demonstrate compliance. If you are on very high doses, expect a very slow wean to acceptable doses.
What is chronic pain?
Pain that persists beyond just a few months. It can be from disc disease, nerve injury, post trauma, cancer and a myriad other sources.
